Has anyone done a carbon fiber trunk with a painted spoiler? I saw in a 3 year old Super Street magazine there was a blue WRX STI with a carbon fiber trunk and a stock blue giant spoiler. I thought it looked good but I'd figure I'd get some opinions. I'd have the Commando spoiler on a c/f trunk if I do it.

i love the way that looks. im actually considering doing that to mine.

Hmmmmm I have thought about that with my prostock wing but didnt think it would look good.

i prefer the look of that as well, the cobalt guys love doing it, cf trunk, stock spoiler with a cf blade looks TITS.

i would do it to mine if i actually wanted a spoiler, just love the rounded clean look so much more.

I was blessed with having both the only spoiler that i like and a really nice color to work with carbon fiber. So i had planned to do this all along and i think it'll look awesome

Did a chop for ya. Being you have the ViS Evo hood figured you'd prolly stick with ViS on the trunk and keep the inners and lock so thats what i chopped. chops arent that great didnt spend but 10-15min on them but you can get the idea. Personally, i dont like it so much, but now if the middle piece wasnt there and it was just thos side posts i think it would look fine. i just dont like the yellow bar across the top. but hell the way your front bumper is painted, you could just paint that peice black or if you really want find someone who can wrap c/f to make you a c/f insert peice that goes over it. unless it f/g then they can just wrap it in c/f. but also do the blade across like the Evos have their spoilers. that would prolly look good. i didnt chop it tho, basically just showing what you were originally asking, then showing how i think it would look better without the middle peice there. btw, it was crazy chopping that, kept getting lost in the yellow because all of it blended in.. if it was higher res i could do a better chop for ya if u want.

I would do the top blade wrapped in c/f. I talked to Josh (IZN_TRBL) about wrapping that before. Thanks for the chop! I like it.

I can't wait to see my wing and trunk combo chopped. I hope it looks as good as that one
