Ok so im looking to get some Hood latches for my car.. i have the RK sport ram air hood for the Sunfires... i was just wondering who has them? and did you put them in your self?
Im soo worried about cracking the hood... and i just had it painted/ re-fiberglased in some areas as it was chipped and cracked from when i was hit head on... so im wondering how your install went? and if you have any pictures post them up
reason im looking to get them is when i had this hood on my blue car, at high way speeds it would vibrate a fair amount and im worried one of these days its going to wrap its self over the roof...

latch. I have some NRG carbon fiber locking hood pins if you want to buy them. I was planning to use them on my carbon fiber hood, but changed my mind.
if your talking about hood pins its easy to install.
look under the hood and you can remove either the inner or outter bumpstops to put the pin there. as far as drilling the hole, put a couple pieces of tape over the spot your drilling (helps prevent cracks and walking the drill bit) and drill a small pilot hole. keep increasing drill size til the pin fits.
I have the Deft Racing Aerocatch flush mount hood pins. I should have pics sometime this weekend. I will post pics when I do.

thats the exact method that i used to install mine. no chipping, no cracking.
