i'm headed to the junkyard today for some parts and my plans are to swap the headlights only. i want to keep the stock z24 front bumper. does anyone have pics of this process of just some helpful pics. i read the sticky and i just wanted to see it done from some of you guys here on the org. any help would be appreciated. i just want to make sure there isn't anything i missed. and i'd like to see some 95-99s with the swap keeping the 95-99 style front bumper. thanks.

I really dont have a how to...... I sugest you make a template from a 2k bumper, to trace out what you need to cut on the pre 2k bumper....

My brother's roomate backed into the driver's side, so thats why that side is crooked.... the bracket is broken, and the tab that holds the corner in place is busted as well. I just ordered a new headlight off of ebay, so once I get that on, I'll take more pics.

Hey dude, for reference, I've the stock wiring for both years in my profile. I like the 99Z bumper too, but I figured it was more work to make my 00' lights fit, than just go ahead and convert it.

The 99 lights make the car look sleaker IMO, but just hate how the corner lights don't match up to the hood lines. One piece light maybe?

Convert 00+ headlights to 95-99

ok that is exactly what i want to do! i love the z bumper on my 97, but i love the lights from the 00+. if anyone comes up with a good way to do this with very minimal chances of me screwing it up, let me know.

i'll take pics of everything and make a small How To: for anyone that might want one.
