Ok guys, I know there are some of you out there that love the look of my car. Others not so much, but I think it's time that I part ways with the whole body kit thing. I've almost completely made up my mind. Either convince me to keep it or go back to the LS Sport kit.

I say leave the exterior the way it is. After you've spent the money to make it look unique why spend more to make it look like every other ls sport on the road? I think it looks great the way it is now.

i understand your tastes change....and it seems that many enthusiasts cycle through the modding loop, building little by little until they have a full kitted car, rims, lowered, interior, hood/trunk, etc and then they get bored with it and go back to stock. but seriously, why make it look like 99% of other cavaliers? i mean i can appreciate subtle mods, but those are the types of things that only other J enthusiasts will notice. to everyone else you meet they wont think twice about your car. and yes, i know you are supposed to do what makes YOU happy, and i say do whatever that may be. but it just seems like an extreme waste to buy everything, put the time, effort, and especially money into a car only to part it out in a year.

i beg to differ... ive had more than a few ppl come up to me and ask if my car has a body kit. and guess what? its the completly stock kit. and more than a fair share have said its better looking than any other cavalier they've ever seen. IMO stock is just as good as all these body kits out there and in a lot of cases, better.

normally im not a kit fan, but in curt's case... i am. guys, this car looks amazing in person, very different that what we see in pictures i can assure you. i vote the kit stays.

man im gonna have to agree with zyaaa . your car is gorgeous and ive only seen it in pictures. youve definately put in the time and effort let alone money to get it that way. i say keep it like it is. i dont see many 03+ cavs with the trd kit and i think it looks great with that color blue. i vote KEEP IT!!!!

I'm going to have to say if your going to do anything different with 03 headlights it can only be the xtreme kit.. the ls sport front for 03s looks goofy.. I never really liked it.. thats why I got the xtreme kit lol,
IF you want to go back to stock at least upgrade the front end to the 02 and do the 02 lip kit... looks better then the 03 any day IMHO but I'm also going to have to stick with the majority here and just say leave it alone..
why dick with getting new body parts, getting everything painted and blended in or matched, then to have to put it all on making sure it all fits right and having to cut the 03 front up to fit your intercooler and piping behind it.. then to just have your old body kit sitting in storage trying to sell it forever, when all you get is low ball offers or no one actually comes through on buying it like they said.. and the only thing I've never really liked about your car was the duals but thats just personal taste.. I'd just leave it and enjoy it.. Its a car you can keep messing with the performance on it and go to the track and impress some people.. then just on a day that seems slow and there happens to be a car show near you can swing over there, enter the car, hang out a bit and impress more people and maybe even win a few things.. Also if your considering this because someone else doesn't like it well @!#$ them, who gives a @!#$ if they think your girl is ugly.. who gives a @!#$ if they don't like your car.. who gives a @!#$ they think your car is slow.. who gives a @!#$ they think your mom is ugly.. who gives a @!#$ they think you suck.. WHO GIVES A @!#$.. bottom line is, Its YOUR car

It's not because of someone else, it's was my idea. I never looked at it in the way that manta just pointed it out. If it's runnin like crap on any given day I could just go pay the 5-10 and enter a show.

I say leave it and concentrate on the motor build,I sold my Drift front because I couldn't afford the rest of the kit, but whoever said you cant' have Show AND Go?

ive had people come up to my car when it was stock asking me what it was so that doesnt nessicarily mean people will think its cool or not. some people just dont know period. imo why spend the money to go back and look like every other millon cavaliers on the road. the reason most people mod them is because their not that good looking stock. the trend does seem to be for everyone to take theri car back to stock and when they do they act like its the newest hottest coolest thing out there. when in reality its just basically a stock car again.

I was just coming in here to let everyone know that I've decided to keep it, I slept on it and realized it was a stupid thought to want to go back to stock, especially considering who wants to see an lss Cav in p&m everytime they go there. lol

well if you do get rid of the body kit I will pay top dollar for the front bumper....Gravana has it on back order for 5 months

You know, I never got the idea of making a TRD front for the 03+, cause they didn't make a TRD that year.....but your car suits it...with the nice big intercooler and all
