Whenever I turn on the headlights in my 99 sunfire they do not go on. Ive been trying to figure out why and I know its not the bulbs since my highbeams work. Does anyone have an explanation for this? Before this happened only one of the bulbs worked when the normal lights were on, and then both of them would work if the parking lights or high beams were switched on.
Now the DRL or normal lights dont turn on and only my high beams work.
The low beam side of the bulbs could be bad, or the headlight switch itself could be bad.

yea i would start with the headlight switch, then if that dont fix it start checking your relays or grounds
check the wiring... i've had my wires in my 2002 cav corrode numerous times and i live in illinois... mmmm salt....i honestly would start there... espically across the radiator... where mine started...
did you change your bulb?
Yes the high beams work, but it could just be the fillament for the low beams being out.
Are both the headlights out? or just one side?
