Hey guys,
I have a 96 Cavalier. The DRL dummy light was flashing for the longest time. Put new bulbs in, didn't solve it. Didn't care and still really don't care about the DRL working or not, HOWEVER, the Drivers side lights high and low beams are both dim. I used my MultiMeter to measure the voltage on the pins for both High and Low on both sides drivers and passengers. The one side is reading the proper 12+V, that's the one that's working fine, and the side that's dim is only around 6 to 7+V ... Which makes sense why the lights are half as bright.
Does anyone know what's happening here ? I'm almost ready to do the jumper thing in the relay to see if that will fix the DRL and possibly fix the dimmed light.
Thanks for reading, hopefully someone has a solution.

had the same prob with my 98 z24.it's the drivers side headlight fuse. the drl will still work but the headlight won't.wich makes it seem always dim.it also makes the light on the dash flash.seriouslt it's the fuse.i jave heard of a bad ground under the battery box causing the same problem though
oops sorry for my bad grammar

Well, the 15 A fuse for each side light are both fine, they're not blown. So unless there's some other fuse then.
When i turn my highbeams on, the drivers side never changes, all 4 lights remain on, however the working one now has a bright and low, and then they swap. To me that's a relay problem.
