Do they make an aftermarket HID kid that will fit a factory HID housing?

Long story short, I came acrost a free set of complete s2000 HID projector headlights... but there is no bulbs, ballasts, etc.. just the complete housings. I want to pick up another set of cavi housings and slowly tinker with the HID retro fit. I need a winter project

But is there a way around buying all OEM honda stuff for HUGE money?

actually yea . if im understanding correctly. go to oznium.com they sell a hid kit for 235 shipped. or somewhere around there. all you do is pick your size of the bulb and thats it. the kit is all plug and play. same kit i have on my car for about 4 months. it works great and took me about 30 min to install. best thing about the kit is that the igniter and the ballast is all in 1 box. just read up on it and see if its what your lookin for bro.

I NEED a 97-99 LD9 engine harness for an auto.PM if u hav info.!!

Nice find on the S2K projectors!!! I've had them on since 05 and they're amazing. You may be 2nd j-body with an s2k retro.

Those will work you just need d2s ballast and bulbs

Yes, those will work but you will also need a wiring harness to make all the plugs work.

You can make your own and there are some steps you can follow from www.hidplanet.com or you can buy the harnesses from www.xenondepot.com The only thing is that they're designed for Philips ballasts

Xenon Depot Harness 1 - Designed for Philips Gen III LVQ212-L300 ballasts
Xenon Depot Harness 2 - Designed for Philips Gen IV XLD 145 ballasts

If you decide to get the Denso ballasts from the ebay link, I'm sure those Xenon Depot wiring harnesses can be modified to work with the Denso ballasts.

You can also buy the entire D2S Kit It comes with everything you need and it's all plug and play. The hardest part you need to do is to retro the projectors into the housings.

Just find a decent plug and play kit that comes with D2S bulbs like mentioned above. You can get them for a decent price nowadays.

I'll sell you a pair of OEM Honda ballasts and bulbs for $120 shipped. I'll even make you a harness if you want. Let me know.
