I have a 04 cavi and was wondering if it was possible to put a rear wiper on it. I live in Ma and am sick of the snow and am very lazy

anything is possible....

it would take a bit of modification but I imagine you could do it if you were good at bodywork...

look at evo's they have a rear wiper

i was thinking about this a while back with my 05 cav. the only way i could think of was to drill a hole in the roof right where it meets the back window. if you mount it to the trunk lid you pretty much can't use the trunk.

but i think a rear wiper would look really awkward and out of place on a cavalier.

Not as awkward as some Mercedes Benz models, with wipers on the headlights .

I was thinking of a wiper like on a blazer how it is in the glass. i would have to drill a hole through the glass though. i think that woud look decent

I think it would be smarter and less costly to be not lazy.... just get a telescoping snow brush... I can clear my entire car in less then a minute

ive always wanted a wiper in the back glass too. sure you can scrape the snow off before you start driving, but that snow blows right down onto the back glass once you get started. same deal when driving in the rain....a rear wiper would be very convenient. and with the slope of the back glass i think it would look fine. but i would suggest looking into using something from a car with a hatch, like a probe

if you clear the snow on the top of the car you will not have a problem with snow

its still much easier and simpler to use a scrape the glass then use the wiper as needed while driving. its more of a problem for me when its raining....i cant see anything out the back glass sometimes.

even in the front of the car your not supposed to just go all willy nilly with the wipers...you should at least get the snow off your car all the way around the top with a snow brush before you hit the road..slippery roads+limited/snow vision because your lazy=not safe for me to be on the road with you..im sorry but use your head folks..its really hard on your wiper system to just jump in and hit your wipers with snow/ice all up on your sh!t....but then again i drive a nice winter car so i take good care to not destroy it during the harsh winter months...good heater=lots of winter sex..good girlfriend=good winter sex so in a way you could say...good heater+good girlfriend=lots of great winter sex in lots of public places...what can i say heated leather is a panty dropper in fridged weather
