I have a 98 Z24 convertible. i am looking for the cover for the top once its down. not too sure what its called but i cant seem to find it. can someone help me out?

not sure whats its called either, my mom had it on her white sunfire convertible. I've seen a couple sell on ebay, thats probably your best bet.

its called a Boot it consists of two hard plastic ends that cover the folded top and a peice of vynal over the cloth of the top to cover n protect when down. i know when i bought my drop id say 5out 6 i looked at didnt have one the previous owners never traded it in lol. but yeah like stated check ebay ive seen them on there yet i believe its new ends only and the u have to get them covered so u make the center and all .

as u see the ends are hard and the center is soft so if u dont find a used on then u get a new one the center needs to be made to lenght when u cover the ends.

there are actually two styles. 95-99 used the 3 piece boot, with hard plastic sides and the vinyl center piece. 00 used one piece....it had the same plastic sides, but the vinyl covered them and the middle and, again, was one piece. ive got one laying around from when i had my vert so youve got a PM

Now it is, that was the first day I had the car n just put it on real quick for the pic i was use to solid boots so but not bad for a half a*& try for the first one.

Oh ok,well one thing I learned from Tabs was spray paint those Bishes the color of your choice with the Duplicolor Fabric and Vinyl Paint,looks 10x better than the fugly tan
