im not sure if this is the right place to post this at but my left headlight's bolt stripped the steel bar that its suppose to be bolted to...
ahh any suggestions what i should do about this, and is there a way i can just buy a new bar and replace it with my stripped one?
i forgot to post a picture so you guys know exactly what i mean so here it is:
the bolt on the right is stripped really bad...please help!
well what the @!#$...
so it would be a complete waste of time to try finding this metal beam for the headlights?
lol yea complete waste of time. i just drilled 2 new holes in front of the old ones and its good to go
mine has done the same thing, but the left bolt on that same side. i was thinking about re-tapping the whole. ive never had this happen before, but it is annoying. still holds the light there, just not as tight...
a new bolt might be the easiest solution. im off to the parts store tonight.

ya it holds it on, but its not as tightly holding on as much as i want it to be holding on to the light fixture
Buy a drill a good bit and a tap and Die set, Tap the hole out to the next size and buy some nice new bolts
ShowFire
Wrap some tissue paper or newspaper around bolt and then screw it in... it will help ...Just don't over tighten again..
