Well its getting close to get my car to the shop for exhaust. Im doing 2.5" downpipe, 2.5" piping into this Resonator into more 2.5" piping into this Muffler and then out a tip. im stuck on a tip but i want it to be black of some sort. here are the ones i found. I have the GM Xtreme Tuner Kit and it has a rounded hole. see pic below. But here are 2 i have found so far...

im definately wanting round but to fit the bumper. since my exhaust is 2.5" i would like one that isnt REALLY long so that i can still weld the tip on the muffler. if i HAVE to i will cut it down. All my exhaust will be welded so i would prefer a steel tip anyway. And i dont think i want anything bigger than a 4", but not positive on that. i dont know how to test fit one in the bumper to make sure it fits since it isnt a half circle. ill try to measure it tomorrow.

you could go with a tip from magnaflow, #35136 clicky It's 2.5" inlet, 4" tip, 5.25" long. fills the ls sport exhaust cutout nicely, and i'm assuming the cutout on the extreme tuner rear is almost the same exact size. here's a pic for reference

as much as id like silver id like to find a black one off the bat so i didnt have to get it powder coated afterwards then welded on.

i like the black chrome ss tip better i think...round would look better than oval imo

reading owns me lol. i missed the part where you said you wanted a black tip. either of the two tips you have listed up there would probably look good, although you'd almost definitely have to cut the longer one. any particular reason that you're leaning towards a black tip?

I have the Xtreame Tuner rear lip and i found out that a 4" tip fits perfectly in it. Anything bigger and it wont fit.

I have the OE tip on mine, but after seeing some of these pics, I kinda wanna upgrade lol
