dang... that sucks for me... lol

how would i go about doing that?
get the outter housings
cut a bracket and drill some holes
fit the LED's and wire them together in line?

im not to much of a genius electrician, so if i get a basic idea, ill probably end up having my friend help me along. i love LED"s and im tired of getting pulled over for braklights out

i have also heard that if i were to run LED"s usually it throws a "your bulbs are burned out light" on the dash, how would i be able to avoid this? some sort of capacitor or another source to draw from?

you'd need a grote flasher

flasher

load resistors get hot and are only a band-aid. this flasher (whic is the same price as our stock flasher) is a true answer.

If I am correct it goes in a relay were your fuses are... looks like the same one for the DRL's

no. its the actual flasher. it goes under the dash. easiest way to find it, turn on your hazards or turn signals, and find the clicking.

If you use LED bulbs, as described above, it'll take just as long as replacing your taillight bulbs and a light flasher to do the conversion. I've done it on mine, and it looks fine and works well.

I'm considering a full LED panel behind my tails next...that's quite a bit more involved, and requires a lot more hardware to pull off. It's not something I'd recommend for the non-electrically inclined, but your taillights end up resembling what you see on a Cadillac when you're finished...one complete light panel with no "hot spots." It's definitely unique around here, though, and that's what I'm looking for.
