Im am in the process of looking for a good body kit for my car, 97 2 door sunfire, i've been on ebay but don't really want an ebay kit but mite be the only thing i can afford yet lol i was on the extremedimensions website and like the drifter style kit. Anyways i was wondering if anyone knew of any other good sites and weither or not the ebay kit would be worth it?? any help would be appreciated.
thanks
I think you should save up until you can get a more expensive body kit. You will be much happier with it! It should fit much better, last longer, and look much better. The streetfire kits from rk sport are great looking kits. Expensive, but worth it.
thanks for the advice i apreaciate it but actually i was on ebay again and i found the kit that i liked from extremediemsions.com for about 100 cheaper looks like a good kit not just cheap fiberglass... has anyone ever dealt with them before? or know anything about them?
yes save up for a real kit. extremedimensions kits are fiberglass i think. i got a razzi front that is not actually a razzi, but extreme dimensions' "racer" front that is made of fiberglass. its durable, but a pain in the ass cuz it cracked already. i was sort of mad when the guy i bought it from didnt tell me it was fiberglass until i already drove an hour to meet him.. so i just bought it anyway.. oops lol. when im done messin with the motor ill get a real kit.
so my 2 cents, save for a good, real kit.

Ive herd of a couple of people who have gotten kits from them .... and yes they say the same ...
BUT..............................
with using companys that just make moulds out of the original ones ..... its bound to be weak ......
with the 100 extra dollars that upi saved ...... dont put the kit on just yet .... go out get some fiberglass
and strengthen the area that are easily spottable as flexable spots
im personally planning on getting the Drifter kit from them .... i think it was for 550 .....
taking it home and gonna put another 2 layers of fiberglass on the kits backside to give it more strength ...
lol when i do get that kit .... im gonna have to look for a winter beater because with this snow in ontario and else where ....
i dont want to put a aftermarket kit thru this because im sure eventually....Without one i'll be coming home without a bumper for this reason some time soon lol
i have the same problem lol i live in newfoundland and if next winter is anything like this winter i'll have no bumper left after wards but i was thinking i mite just get the stock ones painted when i paint the car with the bodykit and then put the stock ones back on for the winter if i have too lol and thanks for the idea maybe i'll try that when i get a kit pretty sure im getting the drifter style now though
