Removing Spray Paint

So I just got a new fender from a autowreckers but it has their inventory number spray painted on it... any tips on how to remove? I know the usual acetone but it covers a large area

Laquer thinner, you can get it anywhere

possibly a clay bar after that, depending how bad it actually is

hmmm I don't imagine it's that bad considering I doubt the wreckers would use a paint that's hard to get off... went got some thinner.... going to try that out.. if not I'll probably pick up a clay bar or get buff it out.. just wondering if anyone had a secret to getting it out

used acetone... managed to get it all off fairly easily with no damage to the clear coat.... once I put her on i'm taking the car in for a good buff so that will take care of anything that's left

go to Lowe's they have this stuff called graffiti remover it works awesome and it dont mess up your paint or anything

No lowes where I live.... used Acetone ... applied very small amounts directly followed by water and the clear coat is 100% fine

carb spray. takes it off instantly and leaves the paint flawless.
