Now Skunk and I were having this debate. Are Bronze wheels JDM style? Personally I dont think so but whats everyones thoughts?
anything hello kitty related on your vehicle = JDM
I don't think it's JDM, I just think it's sexy but I'm biased.

I had something really funny to put here but it was too long.
bronze on black mmmmmmmm
I'm back from the dead.

My Cavalier Burnt up :-(
i think its sexy too! but like 04cav, im biased..
i think 4 spoked wheels is JDM! < in any color really! also, RED seems 2 be a popular color as well!

my stock wheels for my Honda are JDM
i didnt think that colors made stuff jdm.
i thought JDM meant anything thats made stock in japan that people put on there whatever in the states
hmm
maybe i'm wrong
i'm sure someone will think so
see thats what I thought. But does bronze really give off a JDM look to things? To certain degree I think they do but Bronze rims on a cav doesn't scream JDM to me. I just wanted to get others opinions . (

@ Skunk

)
if you wanna go jdm do a RHD conversion
now thats jdm
I have no intention of going JDM with my car. I am just sporting a sticker on the car that says "JDM=FAD" and it would look pretty stupid if the general consensus was that bronze wheels are JDM.
yes i agree
i wonder if most people even know what JDM means
yea i dont really get the whole buy it because its jdm thing. i got toyo tails because well lets face it the stock 03-05 tails are the most stupid looking thing i have ever seen its like your car is freakin cyclops from xmen and to me the 95-99 toyo tails are the best looking option for cav tail lights why GM decided for them to be "jdm" is beyond me but even if they were usdm i still would have chose them. pink 15" wheels are jdm bronze is just bronze but you have to have the right color car to pull off bronze.

damn need to go premium agian so i can edit. anyway while im thinking about it the only thing worth getting because its "jdm" is an rb26 or a sr20 to swap into a 240sx.

yea i had a 240sx that i put an sr20det into that was jdm! Till it was totalled. lol
Some of you guys have to remember in the orginal post he said JDM STYLE. Are bronze JDM style? No, bronze is just another color choice on rims, and as goes w/ the flat black wheels. Even the pink, lime green, and other off the wall colors are more of the style for the Honda Camp. I'm not saying that other modders dont put unnormal colored wheels on their car but the Honda guys have been doing it for a while. Now I already know Skunk's opinion on where my car is headed because I think we go over it everytime we talk but my reason for doing most of the Toyota Cavalier parts is more because they are subtle mods that are done to the car that either only JBody guys notice or hardcore tuners notice. I like it like that because it means the car is all flashy "look at me, look at me". Either way thats my take on it guys. Ken, I agree w/ you though that bronze wheels don't equal JDM style. If bronze is JDM style, whats USDM style?
See I think JDM is something like having a Civic and having Japanese factory parts on your car, therefore making it a very clean and factory made from Japan...so ya that to me is JDM, but I don't think JDM has the important bronze/pink/green style to make it JDM...
What cars were the first to have bronze wheels? The first I can remember are...the Subaru's, then all of a sudden wam everyone wants them. I think they are bland and not that good looking at all. To each their own, I will never really like the look of bronze wheels, but that's just me.

4 Cams...32 Valves...5 Liters...This Could Get Fun!
jdm? no
jdm style? meh....50/50 on that one. they probably did it first over there and then it migrated to the states.
