Alright so just curious maybe its just me ... But anyone else with this style SS hood, CF/Fibreglass, with a 2.4L motor notice on the passenger side that it sits higher than the fender and rubs against the top of the motor ? It sits flush with the fender on the driver side but on the passenger side its elevated right where the motor is and underneath you can see its rubbed against the hood.
Anyone else have this problem or insight to the problem ?

mine sat fine on both sides
im sure you have, but ill ask anyway: did you try to adjust your latch or hinges or the rubber hood stops?
So far I've been playin with the bump stops, I do have to readjust the hinges its slightly too far on the pass side but not enough to be the problem I'm having unfortunately. As for the latch, can you go into a bit more detail ? I wasn't aware the latch itself moved (not the piece on the hood the piece on the car itself)
the latch assembly can be tweaked by loosening the bolts and shifting left or right. might give you some more play. also, you can try to put a washer under the lowest side's hinge to raise it up a bit, giving more leverage to the other side. also, i had 2 of the 4 bump stops removed on my car, so maybe do that too. i think it was the outer ones that were removed so i could install hood pins.
Still think I'm gonna have the problem of it bein raised on the pass side tho
yea but does it rub against the motor? (2.4)
mine was raised abit on the drivers side, and it would rub aginst the intake box and rattle like crazy when accelerating, fixed it with foam strips.
I have not noticed this...
I have tomorrow off, praying for no rain, I'll take a look at 'er tomorrow and see if I see anything different and changable. I thought it was odd as well as I never ran into this problem with the other CF hood I had before this one, and the old one was heavier ...
mine sits higher on the drivers side its settled alot to where its almost flush with the fender, my pass side was low till i adjusted it now it almost sits flush with the fender...

mine sits higher on the drivers side but only rubbing i have had was on the intake, till i trimmed the 90 deg rubber boot so it would sit farther down. havent had the problem since.
I fixed mine... make sure your hinge goes all the way down, and it's warped (turned a little) so it can go all the way down easily

i'm not sure on what drill to use because you don't want to go all the way through, but you want the hole's gerth to be bigger (not huge) so it has play and you can adjust the hood left right up and down so it fits properlly...

all of the glass or carbon hoods i have had (and there have been plenty) have had metal inserts molded into the hood for the bolts to screw into. honestly....im not sure i would trust a hood that you are simply bolting directly to the fiberglass, as that gives you nothing to hold onto. your hood is probably meant to be a pin-on only hood, which means you would need 4 pins....one at each corner...for proper installation.
it's on the motor???
mine was like that and it was the hinge... try taking off your hood and checking the hinge make sure it's straight and can go down all the way. Mine only went down 3/4 of the way until I fixed it... now it's all flush
