When you get them wired in, let me know. I have the same GT (same car exactly down to the color actually

) I am just looking for some new fog lights because mine are none too bright
I like them. Post more pics when you get the wired, I would like to see the light output. I was looking at the Optilux 2500 fog lights to replace the stock ones.
The only thing I'm worried about is that once I have them installed I won't be able to go back to stock. It looks like I'm going to have to cut the plastic tabs that the stock ones mount to in order to properly mount these.
I temporarily wired the halos and fogs to see what they looked like. I'll take some night pics once it gets dark.
Cleaned the dirt off the bumper before I took the pic this time.

Thanks... According to the specs they have an H3 55W halogen bulb in them. I got them off ebay. $45 plus shipping for the 2 of them.
wow... I was so pumped about getting the lights that I didn't even notice the Sunfire on the box.
Looks great. I just bought some projector fogs too. They dont have halos though
lol. the box has a fire on it w/o the fogs on it?
i'm gonna hold my opinion back til' i see some night shots!

Put a HID kit into those puppies and enjoy... I LOVE my projector fogs with HID's!
Was it a bolt on installation or did you modify the brackets of the fog light to install them?
the look like a nice replacement size... they look pretty much stock... I wanna see some night time shots =)
1. HID's are definitely in future plans but will likely be put off for a while.
2. I haven't modified the brackets but i will have to cut the bumper a bit to get them to fit nicely. They were just sitting in the bumper so i could get an idea what they would be like. I haven't even drove the car with them in there.
3. I got some night pics... Its not super dark but its dark enough to get an idea what they're like. Sorry about the quality of the pics, the camera battery was going dead.
A comparison of stock and projector
Halos at night (blue color)
Halo and projector both lit.
Output shots keep in mind that these aren't properly adjusted yet
can they be wired to stock wiring?

I'm not 100% sure but I'm think I should be able to cut and splice into the stock wiring for the projector. The halo takes its own special wiring so I'll have to install the halo harness that came with the lights.

right on... they look awesome!! hopefully my fog projector retro looks half as good haha
Damn....I need to get a set of those...or at least something similar. My 04 base cav is crying for better lights, that's for sure. With the deer populous out here I REALLY need more light out front. Even to the point of contemplating making my cav, rally style. [hood mounted round lamps x4]
Forgot to add....those lamps look AWESOME in you Fire!
Where did you find these babies? They look like they shoot alot of light!
yea you can wire it to stock wiring I did it with a set and it worked fine. I had my halos hooked up to the parking lights and then the bulbs them self hooked up to the stock switch thats in the car. BTW is that a sunfire on the cover of that box?
5 seconds to find another street...
Those are all over ebay... they look good on the car.
I had my reasons for hesitating with them, though.
That projector is not HID compatible/ready... and with how hot my HID's get in the projectors I DID get (Full cast body and glass lense) I'm glad I went with the option I did because those will melt down under the heat. I'd also wonder if the shroud was far enough forward to clear an HID bulb.
Either way, they look good but if HID is in your future for them be aware that it may not work out for you, which is why I walked away from them.
Enjoy!

Slowly but surely may some day win this race...
I bought mine
here but there's a whole bunch of the exact same ones on ebay from other sellers.
Ya its a 95-99 Sunfire that doesn't have factory fogs

I had one of them apart last night just to see what things looked like inside. The projector itself is a glass/cast aluminum set up mounted inside the plastic housing and the halogen bulb thats in it is pretty long so it might work with HIDs. I can open one up when i get home and take some pics for you guys. I was wondering about the heat from HIDs too. If i go that route I'll probably put some venting or something in the housing.
I would like to see install pics. I have been considering getting new fog lights and i really like how these look.
