thats basically what i used on my cav. worked alright with wetsanding. without sanding it was kinda blah. it also takes several coats to not look yellow.

I used the stained glass paint... took like 6-8 coats to get the shade i wanted.. then had them professionally cleared to prevent fade.

when u did ur corners did u wet sand and clear? or did u just apply coats until it was the right color and leave it alone?

I've used metalcast and really didn't care for it so I say go get Vans orange lens paint. Its made for spraying on lens granted it cost about $30 for the paint, but works great. About 2 coats and your done.

This is the Yellow version of Vans, I only put one nice coat on it and didn't wet sand it at all. This was basically a tester, I also have the orange version of Vans but I never got a second set of good corners to spray it on.
ok. i have a question, like when we take apart the healights to put lenses in, cant we do that with the turn signals, n spray the inside of the glass with the organge so like salt n snow, [for us who live where it snows] and rain n stuff it dont ware off? ...i guess the only thing we would really have to worry about by spraying the inside is sun fading it. but i would imagine spraying it on the inside of the lense rather than outside will make it so it lasts alot longer and u wont have to really redo it!
I don't think you can take the corner lights apart, like the headlights, with out breaking them.
naw, u can, ive heated up a set of clear corners to open em up to repaint the chrome black on a set before. if u just heat it up, it will come apart, and then just heat it up again to put together with some new silicone.
...i bet u can just cut the silicone like the headlight n pop it off, and re-silicone it when u done.
um... im about to do my corners as soon as i get the metal cast. what grit did u guys use when u sand?
