What do you guys think about using this paint scheme for my hood? I like it and think that it's a lil bit different.

Here it is reversed. Just seems to plain and boring. It seems like something that everyone else would do.

guess it depends how much interruption in the overall color scheme you want, i vote less interruption. i think the only way i'd vote diff color hood is if it was carbon fiber, since CF is sexy.

couldn't tell from the pic. plus i have bad eyes. i was thinking i seen that he was putting carbon on in some thread....figured i imagined it. maybe i have.
The01Cav, i'd say either way is great. it's more or less you want/prefer.

The second one is the same design as the blister hood from RKS. If you are going to paint then the first one looks much better.

i say go with the first one, i really like that.
if you just want something different, how about spray the whole hood like snazzi did? not too many people do that route and i def think it would look much better than randomly paint your scoop blue
did snazzi paint it? i thought his original cf hood he had was backed into when he was parked then he got another one but that one was blue
pretty sure he was the one that sprayed it. its a regular c/f hood with blue over it
I think his blue is to dark for the tinted CF. I dont think it would look right for him....and I REALLY like the tinted CF.
I think the origional idea looks great.

IMO painting the outer parts of the hood would look the best. Starting at the creases above the headlights and moving outwards.
