This is really popular in the honda crowd. I want to make my engine bay extremely clean. Im working on a ITB set-up and removing the A/C so thats going to clean it up alot. Has anyone been able to hide the wires that go to the motor?
I also want to hide the engine coolant reservior, i was thinking i could put it behind the finder, or switch it with the wiper fluid and just get rid of the wiper fluid. any ideas?
is there anything i can do about all the vacumm lines?

You can probably stuff the Fuse block thing on the drivers side into the innerfender. Its been so long since i seen the stock vac hose layout. Look around for vacuum boxes that might clean it up a little.
Battery relocation would make it look a little less cluttered too

You can buy the carbon fiber engine cover/coolant reservoir cover/brake master cylinder cover blah blah blah
Those are as clean as it gets

yeah but that just covers it up. i want it to be out of site.

ive been lookin for engine clean up ideas to but havent came up wtih to many... im listenting
goto honda-tech.com and search the wire tuck, they speak of a company that offers the wire tuck package for a honda, they may do the same for the cavy. If so let us know.
im working on this right now. if this is a daily driver i'd suggest breaking down and buying a spare harness to work with because it will take some time. youlle ned to complely unwrap the harness and have the knowledge to be able to dis-assemble all of the plugs and connecters off the wiring harness. then rewrap the wiring in loom wiring. this will cut the size of the harness about in half. as your doing this youlle need to be able to set the harness on the car and redo the wiring route if nessicary to hide the wire, this will require longer wire and being able to solder and use heat shrink. im extending the wires on the fues block and mounting it inside the car in the dash, same with the cpu it is being mounted inside the dash. its definatly not something you can do in a couple hours. removing the ac does clean up the passnger side allot just remove all the lines and plumbing and the compressor and youlle need a new belt. weapon-r makes a aluminum overflow tank that sits vertical wich could clean up allot of room as well. just haven't checked the size on it yet it may need to be mounted back by the firewall to fit wich means extending the lines. im sure there are some othere things you can do but thats all ive came up with so far.

^^^any idea what belt is needed for the AC delete?? im pulling mine as we speak
Ok first and formost for and wire tuck relocate the battery to the trunk, run the fuse box to under the dash, the headlight wires can go through the fender, and this is the most ghetto part but if you don't have extensive knowage of the wiring harness just pull the extra out the way and zip ties, i really doubt any honda companys would make things for cavys, not because the honda comunity hates cavys, more like don't respect them, beside very few of you here respect hondas, and the only ones that do are the ones that used to own one. as for the ac you can just rip it all out if you don't need it, i live in texas my EG didn't have it and it was fncking hell and i wont do that again
way to reply to a year and a half old thread
