Door Applique has gap at top.

My 2002 Sunfire's door applique has a gap at the top, and I was wondering how to get that flush. I don't even know how to get to the screws holding it on. Any hints or instruction would be greatly appreciated!

its the metal plate type thing that if you looking at the door is situated along the right side of the window.

Do you mean the vertical black trim on the back edge of hte door? If so them roll down your window and pull out the run the window runs in. The screws are behind there.

usually that indicates one of the tabs is broken.....you will probably have to replace it. But door applique is the terminology used at GM parts direct, so you can look it up that way.....to everyone else its a b-pillar.

You were absolutly correct John, I pushed the weatherstripping aside and the top screw tab was indeed cracked, maybe I can remove it and glue it? Thanks for the help!

Not really going to be that effective, IMO.

Just buy a new one @ the Dealer, they're like $15
