Hey, seen a couple cavs on here with their tail lights tinted all red, including the reverse lights, just wondering if that is legal or if it is only for show, im not sure if it would be different in each state or province, i live in canada nova scotia, but could not find anything on this? thanks for the info guys

most places would probably consider them illegal, but each state, province, and local laws are different so youll just have to check that out

by law its probably illegal but you probably wont get hasseled for it if it still lights up white when you back up. i would assume its very similiar to the night shade tint.

i doubt it would light up white with a red tint over it. best you could hope for would be pink. even the nightshade doesnt light up completely white...

well as long as it lets light pass through you should be ok. hell i went 3 years without reverse and i never had a problem. i would think he would be fine if he did it.

I did it to my tails using Duplicolor metalcast in red. My reverse lights haven't worked for a while now so I haven't had any problems.

I also love the way it looks!
