On our 3g cavalier, what is the black piece on the door called in between the door glass and the 1/4 glass? I have looked for the exact name for this part but cannot find it. Mine has faded and I am looking to purchace a new one.

It's the Door B-Pillar is often referred to as just the door Applique

no point in painting it. those things never hold paint.

they are called door applique in thier catolog. occasionally you can find CF ones on e-bay....they are called b-pillars there, and most everywhere else.

Mine was faded also and I painted it just now. It holds paint good. I paint a bunch of plastic such as the radiator cover and its holding the paint just fine

I don't like cf parts, no offence, unless there is an actual point in it being cf. That piece weighs what, .2 lbs? But thanks guys for your help. I will try that parts store online.
