'05 cav - tropical storm fay blessed me with 3" of water on the drivers side floor pan. Best I can tell its coming from the fire wall area just in front of windshield & running down by the brake & gas pedals. Plugged drain maybe? Car wasn't being driven if that helps.

check the grommit behind the pedals that runs through the firewall it should be grey in color, also check the rubber that surrounds the steering input shaft.
