Does anyone know if this will work? I'm getting a 95 Z24 for parts, and want to take the bumper off of it and put it on my 02 Z24 (along with replacing a quarter panel, one of mine has a dent), but don't want to go to the work if it's not going to work.

itll fit fine, but youll have to either mod the bumper to fit the 00-02 headlights or swap to the 95-99s
crush guard might need swapped too.
your better off having the dent pulled then replacing the 1/4 panel

And the bumper is fine, but I like the bumper on the 95 better...it's got more of a sport, scoop look to it, at least in my opinion.

Instead of changing your headlights, I would be interested in seeing you do something to make your headlights fit that bumper. I don't think it would take much work.

Do you know what the difference between headlights is and/or what I would have to do to the bumper to make things work?

the 99 and below headlights are shorter for one thing. If you look at any pics, the bumper has a bump that comes up to meet them. If you look at your 02, it doesn't have that. I am not completely sure but I believe that the bracket that holds the headlights in may infact be different as well. If you are getting a donor then thats fine so you can mod what you need too. Check it out. I would highly recommend the 95 z24 bumper with 00+ headlights. I would love to see it!

Hopefully this work should begin within a week or so. I'm getting a 95 Z24 for $150 purely for parts. The only thing wrong with it is a cracked head (if anyone knows where to get a head for this motor cheap, let me know lol).
Anyway, I'm going to take the TB, intake mani, front bumper, and a quarter panel from it to swap to my car (along with a few aesthetic pieces from inside the car).
Are there any other useful parts off of that car I could use? And if anyone needs anything off of this car I'm not already nabbing, let me know and I'm sure we can work something out.

the 00-02 headlights on a 95-99 z is pritty simple if you have a dremel you just need to cut off some of the bumper to clear the headlights. it looks really good someon on here allready has it done.

I don't suppose you know of any pics of this? And after the bumper is shaved for the headlights, should it just bolt right up to the 02?
