Spoiler Installment Help

(1998 Chevy Caviler) I need help with making shore the wing is center. Im not shore how to center it, or were to start on the thunk to center it. I was hoping someone could send me a diagram of the measurements or what points on the trunk to start at.

I don't have a diagram but my method is to use a tape measure and a marker. Measure the all sides and positioning of the spoiler then map where the holes should go, check your measurements a few times, maybe 3 to 4 times. You could use toothpaste on the ends where the bolts affix and press the spoiler in the center where you want it and the toothpaste will mark the position for your holes to drill.

there should be round holes on the inside/under side of the trunk. thats where your bolts are gonna go.

aftermarket or OEM? there are holes on the inner side of the trunk for the stock one. as for an after market one, the measuring method is better than the toothpaste one as it does not always center with toothpaste. hope your new wing isnt 4 feet tall! -matt

ps if you havent got one yet i had a 95 grand prix wing on my sunfire 4dr and it looked good.

Thanks for the help. And the wing i have is aftermarket, its a 2 deck BOMZA wing off brand but heavy duty and nice. I got the wing off Ebay for $80.00.
