hey guys, need your help here.
I recently acquire a 96 sunfire 2 door with the 2.2. It was nvolved in a small fender bender which damaged the passanger fender and took a chunk off the bumper on that side as well. It was given to me for free. Being a J I couldnt pass it up! recently i replaced the carpet and the seats with an 03 sunfire ones. Still working on getting the rear ones done.
anyways, I've been to the junk yard several times looking for the fender and the bumper. Turns out that one day i found a pre-00 gt in pretty good condition. To my luck, the fender was gone but the bumper was still there. I have the bumper and the harness for the corner lights. Now, do I need the harness from the light switch on, or just the one that plugs aunderneath the battery tray and on? I plugged it last night and it seemed not to work properly. does anyone have any idea? thanks in advance.

You shouldn't need a new harness. Why are you changing them?
Not too familiar with the sunfire but the lights on thebumper, are those fog lights or turn lights? That's why i took the harness as well from the wrecked car. i figured i might need it!

The round light assemblies in the bumper will be for your turn signals. Your harness is pretty much the same just the GT bumper has different housings for the bulbs.
-cut-n splice-. just cut off the bulb housings you wont use and splice the new ones on. solder and heatshrink is a must to keep watertight

Did I mention I drive a 2000 Lumina now?-----wigm-tuners.org member

Please don't give out wrong information here. He doesn't need to cut and splice anything. All he has to do is find which pigtail/bulb fits into what light assembly. YOU DON'T HAVE TO CHANGE THE WIRING HARNESS IN ANY WAY! lol
