What is the best method of bonding new emblems?

I got new chevrolet bowties for my car. I'm wonderng what is the best method to bond them to the paint? Double sided tape? Glue or epoxy? If so which one specificaly?


Working on obtainting an M-Class license... ?? Hint: 2 wheels.

doesnt the bowties usually come with double sided tape already on it?

Yeah, new emblems and moldings normally have the tape applied. If not, 3M makes a trim and molding tape that's sold in auto supply stores (and I've seen it in Wal Mart). It's 1/2" wide in a roll, rubber based, double sided and works really well.

I just used the 3M double sided trim and molding tape on my bowties that I blacked out and it worked great.

3m double sided tape works for everything. If your emblems are semi transparent you will see the tape though and it won't be as fashionable.
