LeBra - Which one???
Thursday, February 19, 2009 5:22 AM
So I have a 2004 LS Sport Cavalier. I'm trying to pick out a LeBra for it but I have two options. One with a lower spoiler and one without a lower spoiler. I have no clue what I have?

I've posted pictures of what my car looks like. I hope somebody can help.

I assume the "lower spoiler" would be the lip on the LS Sport Cavalier compared to regular Cavaliers that don't have this lip. So I would go with the one with lower spoiler but I'm not 100%

Can anyone else confirm this? I'd like to know before I purchase this item.

if you do buy one, realize that if you leave it on all the time, it will trap dirt, salt, and moisture under it and ruin the paint underneath.

Third option- JUST SAY NO!... sorry I couldn't resist, boredom makes me stoopit.

Once you go with the bra you never go back. Paint underneath will be scratched to S@*t, as the above poster said.

what if you just put in on for highway drives, making sure you have a good coat of paste wax on first, will that help it out?

I picked one up for $25 bucks, because it was on sale and they were clearing them out.

Keep in mind somebody already backed up into the front of my car breaking and scratching the paint. Also I already have a ton of stone chips all over and pealing clear coat, and a tad bit of rust under the front hood.

I figure the cheapest route is to toss a bra on it because even if I repaint it I am highway driving quite a bit.

if you're that worried about stone chips, 3m makes a clear film you apply to the leading edge of your hood. works great and cant be seen unless you look for it.

It's to late for that. I already have a ton of stone chips.

Mike you purchased it for the correct reason, rather then fixing all of the problems you want to cover it up and keep rolling. What you said above is the only reason I would buy a "bra".
