1982 Chevrolet CavalierAbout This Vehicle:
Been driving this car for over a year now with only a few minor troubles. Body Style: Hatchback Color: white Engine: 1.8L I4 OHV Transmission: Manual Interior: burgundy velour Purchase Date: 2000 Build Date: March 1982
   MODIFICATIONS
 Engine:- Not much

- I have installed a K & N air filter to try and get more power out of this old timer. It only had 86-88 hp when it was brand new!(depending on which book you get the stats from) Might get a new carb

- (yes carb) for it someday. This car also was an automatic when I got it. It now has a 5-speed from an 85 Cavy. Was a bit of work but was well worth it.

 Suspension/Wheels/Brakes:- 92 Sunbird 15" aluminium wheels

- KYB shocks. New aftermarket front coil springs to replace the broken ones.

Interior:- This car originally had the cheapo interior in it. I put in a cloth interior of the same colour from another 82. I also put in the optional factory gauge cluster w/tach.

Audio:- A cheap Sony CD Player with Clarion speakers.

Future:- Bodywork is complete as of Oct 2005. The two pics on top are after the bodywork taken Oct 5 2005. Car is now being driven daily.
