What's New:  Hah~ the downpipe fabrication was a pain since I had to do it twice - but I learned.
With the new bravery instilled, i went a head and fabbed up my 3" exhaust all the way back.

The downpipe is out for ceramic coating and I ordered some stainless pipe to fab up some water Y-pipes to add the turbo cooling.

.....hmmm still more to go but the car is getting every bit closer to finally having a chance to fire it over.

12-29-2009: The turbo water lines are complete and routed. The ceramic coated downpipe is also wrapped and installed. I finally installed in the alternator, intercooler piping and adjusted my BOV to the lowest setting.
I think I'm ready for HP tuners and a chance to fire it over some time soon. Still contemplating some larger injectors - 550cc/min instead of my 370's.

4-5-2010 Fired up the car for the first time in two years or so...easy starting, AFR was good, idle was decent and sound of the 3" exhaust was amazing with the fully built motor :-)

4-15-2010: Finally driving the car! The motor is amazing - runs like a top and trying to get some break-in miles before boosting and tuning the VE. The car feels so solid now with the urethane bushings and 2" drop - steering is very quick and fun. Dash definitely vibrates a bit more with the urethane motor mounts but it's not bad.

5-17-2010 - Dropped in the 550cc/min injectors to allow more adequate fuel for desired boost goals.

2-10-2012 - Been too long since I made an update - clearly enjoying the car. Late last fall I began having a severe issue with the car - finally tested the fuel pressure while driving and then narrowed it down to a lot of misses actually happening - Coil Packs were severely degraded - NEW MSD's installed and the car runs better than when I first started boosting. Now at about 19psi and that seems like sufficient power for now.

Feb 21, 2013 - Let's hope for an early spring, really want to get the car out on the road.

Nov 11, 2013 - Installed a new 3" in/out Flowmaster Catalytic Converter and 3" Flowmaster dBX muffler - pretty nice sound, really helped with my interior resonance, and still has a good tune on the outside for sure. I really like the way the car runs, I think it actually runs more smoothly with the cat installed and this muffler over the 40 series I was using.

July 2015 - Body Kit and paint installed!
