hey guys, i'm sooo freakin pissed right now. today i started putting my steelies back on and once i get to the last tire...snap!! the freakin lug nut broke. now i have no way to get the last tire off to put the steelie back on does anyone have ideas on how to fix this?
eep, not sure exactly how it snapped, did the bolt snap off or did you just strip the head of the lug nut?
Re: New Mexico J's

The nut was probably cross threaded. WHen u try to take a crossed threaded nut off... the only way to take it off without one of them little gun things is to break it. just take it to a tire shop and im sure they'll be able to fix it.

anyway....

I dunno. I didn't go to the fair last year...... not really looking to go this year. Maybe tho... depends on if money starts growing from the tree in my back yard lol.

And ur welcome for her name lol.
One more thing... since u have a total of 5 nuts... u'll be able to drive on only 4. just make sure u don't get on the free-way or speed when ur on ur way to get it fixed.
well what it is is that the nut itself is kinda long because it was to fit the rims...the lug nuts came with a key. when i started attempting to loosin it the top section broke off so now i have the base of the lug nut on there and there is nothing for the key to get a hold onto. johnny came up with a good idea and i searched around also and i'm probably get my drill and drill into the sides of the bolt base and break it...should work.
hey everyone, was you may have noticed we were not at the show, well yesterday my mom called me about 9ish and told me that they were taking her to the hospital because they thought she was having another heart attack. Well she didn't have a heart attack but she needed to have the shunt they put in her artery fixed and thats what was causing the problem,. but she is ok now and she is back at home today

Joleene. No she had a heart attack about 7 months or so ago and instead of doing open heart surgery they put the shunt in to open up the artery, and they actually put three in and in between the three there was a space smaller than a hair and that was starting to clog and cause her to have heart pains and if it wouldn't have been fixed in time it would have caused a fatal heart attack. and if this happens again then she will have to have open heart surgery to repair the artery. thanks for asking she is 100% better today.

i know it was a guy, didn't notice a passenger, the front drivers side looks like he's been in an accident or something...my wife was cracking up. duel exhaust with like 3-4" tips forgot to shave the sunfire GT emblem from the doors prolly had a wing on the back but i didnt get a good look at the back of the car. it was 2 lanes over so the van between us was blocking most of the car, probably had stock wheels. Terry was behind me in his sunfire and they looked like they raced so he probably got a better look.

so i think terry and i are going to the track friday night assuming the weather holds, guess we'll see if the weight i shaved last week made any difference anyone else going?
