Anyway I've been up for 23 hours, driving for about 18 of those 23 hours.

As i said above we'll agree to disagree. You have your style i have mine.

As a side note the rice picture was in reference to henry's acura integra, the guy i tease relentlessly and the same guy who teases me about my weight reduction mods.

"Still got your headliner huh? thats gotta weigh at least a few pounds you should pull that out"

I never force my opinion on anyone, however last i checked i was allowed to express them.
i have about half my time slips in my profile it looks like it ranges from 76-78, 77 seems to give me the best E/T's. I have some more stuff in the mail hopefully i'll have it installed by next weekend or so, but we'll see.

reaction .157
60' 2.498
e/t 17.637
MPH 78.228

as opposed to:

reaction .058
60' 2.383
e/t 17.427
MPH 77.806

i was messing around with reaction times last night trying to get faster usually my reaction is around .150 or so and i'm trying to get closer to .050 or so redlighted a couple of times but i think i'm getting better. only had 2 runs that where slower than .168 one of which was .436 (i musta fallen asleep at the tree)

did a 30 second challenge but i broke out on the first run go figure...next time i'll make sure not to break out
You should try the quarter mile track out here in Las Vegas. It is at 2500 ft in elevation. I think you would be running a 17 or under that. My automatic 98 sunfire stayed in the low 17's. But everytime I took my car back to Santa Fe, it ran heavy and slow. I never understood that considering I have to go through Flagstaff at 7700 ft and it runs the same as if I was back in Vegas. Youll get no love from the elevation over there.

I think i saw stealth assassin's car over by the wyoming gate when i was leaving work to go home. Car was leaning on one side with the underglow blue neons on. That some sort of hangout or another?
got another personal best tonight, not sure if the track just liked me or if removing the rear spoiler had a few hundreths attached to it 17.38 not sure what the trap speed was cus i dont have the slip right this second, i'll post new slips tomorrow or something. Think i need to run on the same day with and without the spoiler to see if it makes a difference as opposed to seperate days, at any rate its not a full tenth so i'll probably just put it back on i can shave weight elsewhere.

Horrible body hop tonight and last night, i noticed my exhaust tips have blue paint from my rear bumper i guess?? theres like a 1-2 inch gap so i have no idea how the bumper is rubbing the exhaust....I shift really hard and i've started launching at a higher rpm but i cant imagine the bumper flexing that much. Guess my next investment may be some A-arm bushings and i guess its time to redo the suspension soon.
Dave: Call me plz, I just wanna know if you still have the stock wiring and bulbs for the 3rd brake light for your stock spoiler and if I could get them from you since ya dont need them anymore.

I finally got a body job, I'm working for the auto hobby shop here on base helping their head guy with all the body work their customers want! First step to actually getting my name out as a respectable body shop! I prepped my first car yesterday and spraying it today!
yeah, these cars are hard to find. we got the last one out of four in albuquerque.

as far as holding up with an srt-4 is for sure. the srt-4 doesnt put out much more than the ion redline. i guess one reason is the ion is tuned to perfection from rods and pistons down to suspension. but better yet is the insurance for the ion is cheap especially compared to the srt-4
are we talking butt dyno or do you have some sort of proof?

have you dynoed the car?
1/4 miled it?
Raced an srt-4?

im not trying to be a jerk... just want info
Thats cool dave, np. Congrats on getting the awesome car too, gotta see it sometime.

Berettaguy: the gauges in the middle are great, i did it on my cav, ya want some? : )

I need you guys to vote on this, just a 1-10, the flames arent right, they are gonna be nice tribal flame design and the color of the flames will be the top and bottom colors marbled, and the greens not as dark as id like, and the orange not as bright, but its a pretty good vision of what i will look like.
