As Brad said, it is not a big cut to the subframe. We have to lower the subframe by disconnecting the steering rack from the column, then unbolting the bolts that hold the subframe to the body..leaving the ball joints and tie rods connected to the spindle. Once the subframe is lowered Scott used a cutting torch to cut thru the back of the subframe from the top side, so as not to damage the sway bar or steering rack. Also the heat shield was removed. When I get my header, I will make a template with measurements so everyone knows where and how much to cut out

yes i used a cutting torch. but you COULD use a cutting tool if thats all you have, it is simply going to take LONGER, and you MUST be careful not to damage your swap bar or steering rack.
im not that skillful with cut off tools. ill have the SOB bare

This header may just be a major part of my build if I ever get around to it.
No updates so far. I will be ordering mine by the end of the month.

Pricing for the 2.4 header will be $525 plus ship. There is a little bit more tube for the 2.4 version plus the cost of the flange.
