I remember that meet, lol. It was a twin-state meet - or was it tri-state? I can't remember now if some of those people were Minnesotans or not, I think they were just cheeseheads lol... In my own defense, I didn't show up in a J - but I do still own it
As for my sig ... I should add "Driveability in snow is great too!" in regards to the truck. This POS sucks some major monkey balls in the white shyte. Part of it is probably the cheap-crap Hankook tires that Hyundai put on the damn thing...

Most of chicago land jumped ship. Your brother, Cheesecake and Matt, are the only ones still around with J's and none seem to be real active nowdays.
There's still Curtis, Vince and Falloutboy Cameron who are active and still modding if your going a bit out west. Bradnon (Snauper or whatever, from Schaumburg) hes still around but never really got involved in the big group. Jeff is still aorund.

I wish there were more meets so I could get involved.
I am the president of the auto club at Joliet Junior and I will be setting up a track day for the auto club and any others who want to come next season...I shall post it upp when I get it set up and possibly we can make it a midwest J meetup. Either way I'll be calling Adam Hahn to see if he can come out and beat our asses to a pulp on the track... :-)

Your a couple years late if your looking for local meets. We used to have liek 5-6's together almost every weekend with monthly porest preserve BBQ's with a good 12-15 people (mostly J's but not all). I remember the huge Chicago meet a couple years back we had people come from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, we had liek 20+ J's show up, it was a great time.
Illinois meets are all but gone now days, there's the Dells weekend a bunch of us make every year.
You can try to setup a meet and hope for the best but if the past had shown anything its that most people wont show up if you have to pay to get in the door. Track meets usually had a very small turnout.
Now Ryan, my Cav is *technically* still around ... But it's in @!#$ty shape...

She's settin' in the racetrack junkyard waiting for me to come rescue her. But as you can see from the pics, the subframe is not really worth repairing... On top of that, my buddy looked at the steering rack & said it's in bad shape too.

i still play with j's, i was in MN when all the IL meets went down, then i come to IL and they are all dead and gone..
idk where i was when MN came to IL cuz i missed that but i know i watched the vid they made and was wondering how i missed out.
