Oh.. I made the appointment for the tinting today. Should be done Friday by noon, i'm dropping it off at A to Z window Tinting at like 6 am before work. They get there at 8. 18% Front 2, Back 2, Back Windshield, 25% AS1 (Sunvisor Strip), and 25% on the Moonroof.
sweet.... i need to get my car tinted i was thinking about 20 all around... whats the stock tint on the moonroof? also is there anybody selling some stock 16s around here for cheap???? or wanna get rid of their stock rims for free =o)
Stock on my moonroof was probably 45-50 ish. I just wanted it a little darker.
All for $140, thought it was fair. Lifetime Warrenty Included
If I do any tinting at all, I'm just gonna match the moonroof on all the sides and the rear.

AS1 stands for auto safety level 1. Its not a magical line that auto glass manufacturers put there so you know how far you can tint to and still stay legal... its just the cops that see this line as the point of where you should go to.
note:
both of my z24's never had this line with the stock windshields, as well as the aftermarket one i had installed in my black 97z. its funny when the cops look for the line, then they immediately say i scraped it off

ive NEVER seen another car that didn't come with the line stock.
Mine doesn't. No line, no tint, no mark, no dots, it's a clear ass windshield. But 2 days and that changes

That's cool. Will Industrial plating take walk ins? lol.. I could be there by 12 then.
I just cleaned it out today. Window tint friday. The headlights you may or may not like, but I think it's better than the chrome.
I don't know about my car. I always get the feeling like I could have done a lot better... lol
and here we go with the dreadful SNOW a-gay-ne.
I doubt we will get much. They are saying 1" to 3"
