Well im really @!#$ pissed off right now , ive been installing the TWO FRONT coils from 230 until now. After alot of adjusting and tightening and problems , the passager side is done.

HOWEVER , the idiot poorly re-threaded the right one or mangled it ( i was told that the set up was in perfect , ready to install conditon ) or something ridiculous, its completely horrible ,
There is honestly like 3 MM then one thread, there its smooth for another 3 MM . So i tried my luck and tried to get it to fit and just basically tried everything , washers , new nuts , some sanding. AND NOTHING WORKS. So now my plans are ruined, i couldnt even get to the lambos. Tommorow im hoping to get a tap and die set with a 21 MM , and see if that works. If it doesn't im going to flip the @!#$ out .

Some pics were taken before we realized that the driver side one was stripped , it was making a slight clunk when i hit bumps, but regardless with the two just in the front , the handling improvement was amazing.

I know none of you really want to know or even care, but i have to let out my frustration ...
Now on to the pics ...

DON'T... Don't ask why, just don't do that. BAD idea. ENTIRELY UNSAFE.

Jesus H Christ! Good luck getting your money back DJ, but i wouldn't hold my breath... If the guy was enough of a dick to pull a scam like that I doubt he's gonna be giving you any money back any time soon. Are those bilsteins the sleever over shock type or the kind with the threaded shock body... if they're sleeves than you can at least just got get new shocks.

Adam haven't you bought alot of used parts?

Buying used parts is fine, but only if DETAILED pics are provided, you're able to inspect them first, or its from someone you KNOW and trust. Personally, even buying from complete strangers i've never had a situation like DJ's, but unfortunately, stuff happens...

Ok enough with this already ... the pictures he gave me i guess were when they were newer , and they had bolts on them so i couldnt even see the threads.
So he obviously thought this over before he did it .

And i bought the lambos with no pictures at all , and they worked out perfect. Its JUST THE PEOPLE YOU BUY THEM FROM . Thats the problem. I obviously learned my lesson.
( Hence the reason WHY I ONLY PAID HIM HALF THE MONEY, so i could have the upper hand in this situation )

This ones either go back to him , or ill sell the rears, ill figure out something to do with them.

Yes...I bought 2 parts used from Classifieds and 1 from a friend. 2 from classifieds used was a RSM Throttle Body & RK Sport Spoiler and from 1 from a friend which was Alex with my 1st set of white rims. The TB was an exchange thing so he sent me his TB first, if there were any problems, I could call the deal off and send it back which there weren't. The spoiler was from an org member in the classifieds who actually gave a false add by saying that It was off a black car (which led me believe it was black) & in good condition. When I got it, it was purple and had marks all over it but I didn't really care cause I had to take it to a body shop anyways and they fixed the problems and plus it was only $150 compared to it brand new of being $400.

Everything else I bought on the classifieds were new...

The whole point DJ is trusting someone and whether you are ready to take a loss incase the seller is full of it. The reason I said I wouldn't buy a suspension part used is because you really don't know what kind of condition it is in when you get it...it could look totally fine but the strut is blown or there is a slight issue that they didn't even know about. With my spoiler, it's easily fixable and can be re-painted so that's why it didn't matter.

I hope everything works out for you DJ.

The doors are the last thing on my list to fix right now. i tried using various other bolts on the stripped top bolt for the bilsteins and actually ruined my one good stock bolt
( no luck there ) and i used the other stock nut on the good bilstein. ( The one with the half inch of blank thread so it sits nice on the bottom of the strut mount ).

So as of now , the car cant be driven , its just sitting, and as for the looks of it, i prob wont be making this meet unless i can figure something out ...
