I have no idea what modifications are needed to use the F body bracket on the J, if any at all, considering there is a "flange" somewhere in there. I got this info from some stuff I had stashed away. Circa 2000 for allowed modifications on the J platform for the Motorola Cup cars.
James you are awesome still lol.
Want hub spacers? Shoot me a PM.
The guy still has info most have never seen

the cheapest way that I recall was the fiero rotor and grand prix caliper and a scarebird bracket, been there had it
bump....any progress on some rear brake setups ?
RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...
Bump up....wanting to get rid of my drums and will NOT do neon rears.....
Trying out a few more ideas, this isn't forgotten by any means.

Wow can't believe I'm just seeing this now - the yards are ripe with s-series saturns with rear brakes wanting to go on my fire lol. Subscribed.
I know a lot of people do neon swaps but what about other cars with 5x100 rear discs breaks. Like I know some volkswagens have 5x100 rear disc breaks and also some toyota celicas have rear discs breaks with 5x100 bolt patterns. Is there a reason why org members do not try to use these particular cars?
gilligan
The VW ones come in too basic sizes, too big and too small. Neons are just right.

Ok I have a question, I did a search but couldn't find anything so dont flame me lol. Why could you not use the cavi/sunfire front disk parts and swap them to the rear??
Again sorry for the newbness lol
Dan
No provision for an e brake, and the brake bias would get all jacked up.
