4 doors, your right sam torres or whoever that is his car isn;t an ecotec i'm thinking it's either the 2.2 ohv or the 2.4.
95,000 on my 04 Ls sedan 2.2 eco 4 speed auto, and other than the service light in the dash coming on intermittently no major problems to speak of
hit 150,000kms yesterday.....car's running pretty bad now actually.
Just hit 80,000 miles......get to change another fuel filter.

'04 sunfire sitting at 85,xxx.
i got almost 50k on my 02 ls sport. no problems.
just did a few fuel filters.
05 cavalier 68,000 went through 3 trans and a shift cable but other than that nothing. luckily trans were under warranty thankfully
just about 75000 on my 04 ls sport, no problems except the stage 3 clutch chatter :\
gotta replace wheel bearings though..

Not too many problems, had a recall on a clutch assembly a while ago. I change the oil very frequently usually 2500 miles. I'm getting another car so this won't be my daily anymore, just shows/weekend/dates.

I just bought a 02 LS Sport coupe with the 2.2 ecotec. 5 speed, runs great, 81k miles. no leaks whatsoever. only problem i have had at all is that it has shut down on me a couple times.. think i pinpointed it though. just put a fuel pump/filter in, struts and mounts all around. and front pads and rotors. heard rumors about the timing chain going out around 80k. this thread helped me not worry so much.. this is my second cavalier. bought a 04 from a dealership with 45k mi for 5100.. some guy pulled out in front of me and i totaled it.. got 6900 back from insurance.. anyways i'm new to the site so hopefully i will learn my way around better!!
almost 98,000 on my 04 LS Sedan, 2.2 eco thinking about replacing the timing chain now since i am close to 100,000.
157,300 as of parking it today. Running fine now, hopefully will last through the rest of the winter months.
i have 22,449 as of right now....

04-10.5k Had work done on it....been very busy/and health issues..so it sat a while...
my 2005 Cobalt had the 2.2L Ecotec in it... traded it in September 2006 with 48,000 miles on it. Never had an issue with it.
My 2007 Cobalt SS/SC has the 2.0L LSJ Ecotec and that just flipped 34,000 miles the other night... one thing I noticed about both Ecotecs is that seem to idle funny in the cold... maybe it's just mine.
Good, bad... I'm the guy with the Cavalier.
