You sure do, I don't think I have seen any like this, but the reason could be that it throws rocks through the opening, the rocks keep getting suck on top of the side skirt, I think I am going to make a shield for driving and I will take it off at shows.

Bob Mull's cavalier has the opening from the widebody into the wheel well, but his is the only other one i have seen besides this one.

When I seen that car in person I dont believe it was like mine, my tire is right up next to the vent where his vent stoped short. It has been a few years since I have seen it so I could be wrong, but I dont ever remember being able to see his tire through his vent.

You can, I was in the same car club as him so I got to study the car up close for hours on end lol. His doesn't have the Huge opening like yours but it does go through to the wheel well and you can see the tire. I do have a question, in this pic it doesn't look like the rear wide body is molded, is it just the pic?

Well the back quaters are metal and they were welded on, I just put a small line to bring out the widebody kit, and also to show the quality of the work, its not easy putting striaght lines in it like that, buffing it wasn't easy either got to have some skills not to burn through the clear with that little line.

The line kinda indicates were the stock body line was, to show how much wider it is from stock, you kinda get what I mean, trying to explain it the best I can.

no sure if you hit exactly what she was asking... it is one piece molded in right there, in the pic it looks like a hood-to-fender type gap, like its not actually one piece. It is one piece but there is a sharp edged body line right there which is why it looks wierd in the pic.

Are you going to redo it before this summer or in the winter when you change your paint?

I will be redoing it over the summer, say like the dash, I will redo it, paint it and put it in, then move on to something else like the door panels.

I think that I am going to get extras of everything so that I will have a complete inter. and still be able to work on the rest of the stuff. So I shouldn't miss any shows that I want to go to.

Beautiful man, just beautiful. I love that you were confident enough to leave it in black at this stage to show off the quality of your work. Are you going to go with a two-tone eventually? I'm sure somebody else probably already asked this, but I was too loaxy to read thru all 8 pages.

Either way I love it man
Oh yeah, "We're not worthy" lol

We need that edit button so bad. I wanted to ask if you were going to keep the silver and black theme for the interior, or if everything was changing.

Quote:

as for the reason to go with black was to show the quaility of work, and it only hides the body work in the pics, anyone can paint a car some bright ass color that throws your eyes off, black will show every flaw
I couldn't agree more. Black paint will always, always be the best way to show off your work. Two tones, and bright colors hide the body work that isn't quite perfect.

The car is perfect - extreme but subtle. It's the kind of car you walk by at a show before you realize you need to turn and stare. Just perfect!

Plus, I'm loving that blue car next to you in the third picture

It's for sure a nice set up, but I wouldn't go as far as saying the best sunfire. It still looks a little plain to me? Not nocking on it, it looks good, but I personly think the nicest J body I have ever seen in the 8 years I have been moding is Queen Z. It's real clean totaly custom and original. I give this person props. , but I'm not trying to start a debate, so in short nice ride!!!
