The back panel idea you have is good.... Molding the speakers in.... What do you have in mind fit the IDI cover?... Could always mold smooth with fiberglass or something about some kind of slightly raised design and paint to match... Even 2 tone in you do that with you body....whatever you do to the rest of the engine bay, carry it over to that cover I guess.... I like the back panel.. Why not some thin bright LED lights along the top instead of the standard 3rd light?..... I like why the car is going anyway.. Looking damn good !!!

If you ever wanted to try a different 3rd brake light idea, look into late model Aurora 3rd brake lights. LED's across the top of the rear window...
