I got to test them out on the track in February ... it was the Hybrid with old 2.4L. And the car was peppy, cornered near flat (the most stable in the Mid-Size class-- IMO) And the styling by far the best FWD Malibu to date. The back is really nice because it reminded me of the JA cars from Chrysler, which to me are still a looker. The GM rep said that the design is so the wind travels smoothly at its end.
Come fall that 2.4L will get replaced with the 2.5L with the hybrid, as the 2.4L goes off to the history books.
