Hey shifted.....I hope you plan on ripping off the source code from the megasquirt for a base code cause it will seriously be a very long time before you could have even near the robust operation with all the bells and whistles the MS has just from a straight code point of view. I cant wait to see this in beta and how you get it there!
Ron,
Could you update your site you dedicated to the ecm so we know how far along you are with it please? thanks!

hahaha....yeah its pretty tough to go through. But not impossible, I've done several code modifications myself and they all worked....lol.
EDIT::
Have you decided what your going to use to drive the coil igniters?...............VB921's? or IGBT's?

ICM will take care of the coil igniters for now, later I'll re-design the ICM and integrate that in, but for now I just want to signal it to fire and not worry about the circuitry.

Buy stuff from CarCustoms Ebay! Won't be disappointed!
Are you going to integrate a VR input to generate your SQ-wave yourself from the crank trigger or let the ICM pass you the SQ-wave signal? -It doesn't really matter as far as tuning goes but for all out precision, a VR input to allow a larger tooth wheel like a EDIS native 36-1 or maybe 60-2 or maybe even (flywheel teeth+ crank TDC) would be really cool.....maybe just keep it in mind for future upgrade right now. It will be hard enough to get this all going as it is.... :-)
mmmm i see stand alone in my boosted future!
looks good Ron.
all through-hole though? no SMT? lol
j/k

SMT is easier than through-hole for me.
btw, just re-certed IPC A-610.
J-STD is coming up next month.

This will be the best thing...
IN EVER.
You have just inspired me to go back to college.
Seriously.
You rule.
ZZZZZZZ
I just got done reading this whole thing... My head hurts. I can kind of relate being a GM tech because i have programmed a few ecm's but yeesh! This is just techno-god speak beyond belief. And sounds too good to be true! But I'll definitely be in line for one to smooth out this tuning process with my 2.4/2.3 hybrid. Great Job!!!
ouch man glad your ok, motorcycles are dangerous.....
R.I.P. Brian Klocke, you will never be forgotten
