Need some exhuast help???

Ok in the 99 fire that i just did the 2.4 swap in from the 2200 i used the stock 2200 exhaust with he two rice cans someone had put on it. When it had the 2200 in it they weren't that loud. After the 2.4 swap i drove me crazy and was just waiting for a ticket. Well i went and bought a obx header, 2 1/2in/out thrush glass pack that is 28inch long. I then went to one of my local shops and had 2 1/2 inch ran all the way back except for the pipe on the right side from the Y being 2 1/4.

I had them put the glass pack on and re use the fart cannons just to see what it would sound like. Well It made it a little quieter and gave it a better sound. But it's still to loud for my taste. Even though it sounds like a v8 idling. Any way i want something quieter that is more mellow. I have thrush turbos on the 2000 which is a little louder than stock but not loud enough like i want it.

I'm trying to make up my mind on what to do, I want to keep duals( Type of person that has to have it flow and match ). I don't know if i should get two mufflers to replace the ones now and keep the Y pipe to where exhaust really only come out the left side. Get like a 2.5 in and a 2.25 dual outlet, put it where the stock one would be then run new pipes over to the right side.

As for mufflers I'm not sure i want something in between the thrush turbo and the fart turds that doesn't buzz to be hell and back to the point it make you death or gives you a headache. I was looking at magnaflow or the dynomax super turbo. Also for tips i want something like 4inch to 4 1/2 round slant cut or a set of oval the same size that look like gt's but polished. Problem is i have found any decent oval ones that wasn't like 80 bux's a pop.

The main reason i can't decided what to do is if i run two mufflers( The exhaust flow out is going to be the same as now by steaming out one side, have to buy two mufflers, and tips). If i run a single in and dual out( The exhaust flow out is going to be close to the same, Only buy one muffler(save some$$), Buy tips, And get piping ran again from behind the axle which shouldn't be to much)

So i need some help before my dash and door panels decide to rattle off, pin me in the car causing me to wreck to the point where they couldn't find me in all the pile of parts that happily felt like falling off.

No fogot to mention that. In which i know will make it louder but that is fine if i get some kind of muffler that sounds better that a swarm of mad bee's going around your head and isn't to loud to where it will bug me say on the interstate. Also if anyone is wondering why i went with 2 1/2 it's becuase i'm working on boosting it. Also the deal with left pipe after the Y being 2 1/2 and the right being 2 is becuase the shop told me it wouldn't matter due to the fact it'll never put out enough exhuast to need it the same.

ok i seen pics of how it's been done. But i think i'm going to cut up the spare tire part to make it so the muffler would set/ tuck flat. Then weld sheet metal back in to make it all good. I took the spare out so that doesn't really matter.

Any way here is my parts list:
Since the glasspack is 28in oal so i'm going to go with this in place of it Magnaflow 4inch round resonator

This muffler Magnaflow 2 1/2 in & out Might go with there 2 1/4 out depending on tips.

But need some help with tips. The rice cannons are 3 1/2 in. on the tip and look good. Only thing is if i get a set of 3 1/2 in. roud tips the might look to big but not sure. Also i'm not to sure on what tips to get oval, dual like t/a and c5's or round. Some one care to help me out and decide?

Also i don't have emissions so a cat isn't a problem so i don't belive i will put one back on.
