Ok i am look to put in my oil pressure gauge and i need to put in a "T" fitting but i need to know what the threads are for the oil pressure sensor thats in there right now?
dont put the oil pressure line on the cam tower
use the fitting that is in the block , its back of the block on the passenger side near the timing chain cover
all you have to do is plug the existing plug out , and use the adaptor in the kit with the pressure gauge
You need a 1/4" NPT brass T fitting.
could u send a picture of how to install that gauge

i can only find the one sensor on the the cam housing... i dont know where the other one is... and with the s/c and header in there now there is no space to look around.. the knock sensor was hard enough to find.
Supercharged 2.4L
will the one on the cam houseing still work?
Supercharged 2.4L
its right under the water pump
the copper line in the pic

thanks for that picture 97cavie24ls... one more question... below are some links to pictures of the pressure sensor i got with the gauge.. and i am wondering if i still need an adapter or what to hook into where you said. or would i be better putting this into the one in the cam housing ?
And what is the difference between the two? like wont the cam housing one tell me the same as the one at the bottom?
Oil pressure sensor 1
Oil pressure sensor 2
that should screw right into the port in the block
Thank you .... ahah saves me the trouble of taping it into the one up top... it will work the same i presume?

you will need a adapter , its either 12mm x 1.5 or 1.75 , i dont remember which , a search on here and you should find it , its made by autometer
there is a alen plug on the back of the head , near the exh cam side , that is fairly easy to get to , install the adapter and then run the gauge line , or sensor
o dang! thats awesome! so you dont even mess with the stock OPS? thanx alot guys!

Im very surprised that you havent had any problems with that kind of hook up. Brass get very soft when heated, and when I did that on my 2200 the weight from the sensor made the extension snap off eventually
