Anyone experience this from Pacesetter?

Found out what my exhaust leak was comin from :-( Theres that hole as well as a crack where all the primaries meet(on the inside of all the tubes) that you can only see when looking into the collector. All the other primaries are also "bulging"

Ewww damn...that's terrible. I've heard people have issues with their headers on different cars/vehicles so it doesn't suprise me.

actually i can tell you that is from having the header wraped

even with the low quaility of the pics , i can see where the wrap was

i got your email at work just before i left , if you can get some better quaility of pics , and ill see if i can do anything

but i will tell you now , the with the header being wraped voids the warrenty

I have heard bad things about using header wrap.

same...

increases the wear on the header
doesnt allow the metal to expand and contract as it does when heated and cooled.
fatigues the metal and def the welds...

honestly, if at all possible (cant see your pics) go ceramic.

yes you should never use header wrap on those headers. it's best to have it ceramic coated or just buy the PS armor coated one.

I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.

whoa eric didn't know you were on JBO :-). What possibly could you do for me with better pics? I mean what's my best case scenario? The ones sold on ebay brand new from pacesetter as i got before have gotten bad rep about the "high heat coating." Some have said it bakes off after a week or two. And i'm not goin performance with my 'fire anymore, its just a daily driver so i don't wanna spend a buttload on JetHot or anything.

prob not the header.... prob your sensor or your injectors arent enough for the boost.
