NA 2200

I did a couple quick searches and was unable to find what I was looking for. Has anybody ever gotten into the 14s NA with the LN2? I don't really want to be doing an insane build, but I would probably replace the pistons rods and rings. This was what I was thinking. Would this put me anywhere near that goal?
all basic bolt ons for intake and exhaust
mild cam
high comp piston
new rods
p&p head
something for tuning like HP
I may have forgotten something, but thats pretty much what I was thinking

I think Byron hit 14s w/o his N2O, but that was a dedicated drag car. Prepare for weight reduction. My first goal is to hit 14s pre-turbo, but that will be with stock 9:1 CR and a 3spd, and major weight reduction.
Scarab should be starting his OHV build here shortly, which shouldn't have a problem breaking into the 14s with a full-bodied J, but he's going to be doing a little more thn just a cam and pistons...
If you add an LSD to that list, and you can actually drive, you should probably hit 14s if you're not weighing your car down with a stereo or something.

According to Byron's web page he hit 13.60 @ 100mph.See his page here. You can read a little more about it on there also.

scruf was spraying... byron's car was just N/A and gutted, wearing slicks.... i'm sure there were plenty of other trick little things done to, but that was the majority, at least according to his page.

Well, hopefully you'll be putting up some better times, because the ones we have right now aren't making the 2200 look all that great. No offense to anybody.

No, there was a green 3rd gen drag car also. Found him. Joe Almeida. I don't think I have the link to his web page anymore, Event might though.
