My dyno numbers...
Monday, April 17, 2006 8:36 AM
A few of us went to the dyno this past weekend so I thought Id toss up the numbers I put down. This is with a swapped 2003 ecotec / 4 speed auto from a 2200 . Honestly Im happy with the numbers, I figured they were around 120 because of the auto...

* AEM cold air intake
* Quadfourperformance 60mm TB
* Pacesetter ceramic 4-1 header
* Magnaflow high flow cat
* Apexi N1 mufflers
* Carcustoms.net solid upper motor mount
* Carcustoms.net lower motor mount

Congrats. Are you dissapointed, or was that just a base for bigger mods for you?

wow, nice numbers, especially considering that not only is it auto, but that the dyno dynamics is like a mustang dyno in that it is load-bearing, and will typically give lower results than a dynojet would....

Hahaha, The buddy of mine with the 5 speed eco still had his 19" rims on so that killed his numbers bad . The other guy did not have the cash to run either . That sucks cuz I realy wanted to compare mine to other ecotec. I put on some 14" steelies for the dyno to reduce the rotating mass.

I have BIG plans to add my real power adders in May or June. Ill give everyone a hint...

no its not an intercooler per say

As far as getting on the dyno with the front bumper...

Just curious if you have HP Tuners on the car? I will make a difference. No AFR readout? With all of those mods the Fuel trims have got to be out of wack a bit and your actually not getting all the power the car could really produce.

sweetness..great numbers..nice to get a baseline before the charger goes on

i just dyno'd my 2200 turbo'd with 4psi on a .42/.48 3sp auto..and got 127whp on a dyno dynamics also...nice to be able to compare to a midly modded eco auto

Re: My dyno numbers...

just so you can compare Phlatcav, I put down 125hp and trq or an auto eco with

AEM intake,
Pacesetter Header
Magnaflow hi-flow cat
Maganflow muffler
2.25 piping

did that with my 17's on
