WEll finished putting in my engine in my z24.. automatic transmission. i have a big smile on my face cause after so long i was going to see it move. turn it on purrs like a kitten, all the gauges do not work hurmmm probably a fuse right ? i step on the brake and go to put it to gear . nothing does not move. stays in park. i tryed to put it in gear manually through the engine compartment but nothing......

my question is = could it be some sort of electrical problem ? is there anyway i did anything wrong when i married the transmission with the engine ? . would any electrical problem make it do something like this ? is my tranny gone ? i installed a mustang transmission a while ago and i had to turn the torque converter side to side to make it in all the way but this transmission torque converter just slit in all the way with out movement. i left fluid in the torque coverter .. any ideas help thanks.. this cavy is gonna be the end of me and my wallet.

Sounds to me like you didn't bolt the converter to the flex plate

Yeah i connected the Flexplate to the torque converter the three bolts. i mean everything should be right but i just checked the fuses for the gauges and well all of them are functioning. what could be causing this ? what part of the electrical system if at all ? thanks im just anxious to get this car going .. thanks
