ok how hard is this swap going to be my 98 has egr and the 99 doesn't is there any more obstacles this is going to be my first motor swap everything but the egr will be the same correct thanks

It will be no problem at all. Use everything from your motor, EGR, injectors, your tranny. The motor will bolt in.

I caught that after he had mentioned the no EGR thing... (unless GM as a whole dropped the EGR in 2000)

i really appreciate the help thanks like i said this is going to be my first and i was hoping it would go smooth sounds like it will to bad there isnt a real how to for dummies and before anybody says search i already have
